TELL US A BIT ABOUT YOURSELF

After graduating with a degree in Photography my partner and I travelled in our camper van around Europe and Morocco. Whilst away we made a large body of work called Continu-um . We’ve now ended up back in Lewes where I grew up. I’m working a few different jobs at the moment including helping Ellen with Sideline!

WHAT INSPIRES YOU?

My Mum inspires me everyday, I constantly think about what she would do in everyday situations, as well as when I’m making big decisions. She passed away last year and it is the single worst thing that has happened to me. I’m currently working on a photographic body of work to help me try and process everything that happened in the last couple of years. It links together thoughts about my Mum, the moon, circles and cycles, it may never see the light of day but it’s quite cathartic!

WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY?

Going on walks with my boyfriend and dog, seeing my lovely friends, eating good food, reading and looking at beautiful photography.

WHO IS YOUR STYLE ICON AND WHY?

Probably Jane Birkin in the 1960s and 70s!

WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO AND READING AT THE MOMENT?

I’m listening to the dreamy Weyes Blood a lot, I’m always listening to her! I’m currently reading Self-Help by Lottie Moore, it’s a wonderful collection of short stories about the female experience.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT SIDELINE?

So much! I am usually wearing at least one Sideline piece. The clothes are so practical so I can wear them everyday and they make me feel lovely!
